Do I have to be a computer geek to make George work?

NO!!! I designed this system so a person with little or no computer experience can operate it in less than a minute!  There are only three display windows and everything is clearly marked. Since it's touch screen operated....if you can point you can pick songs and operate the system.

Can George do a multi-event party?

Absolutely!  George is pre-loaded with a variety of background music selections that can be selected in addition to the play list you created online!  Here's one possible example of a corporate event.

Martini Lounge Jazz for cocktails (Press STOP to have the music fade out)
Microphone for welcome and any speeches or awards.
Piano Jazz for Dinner (Press PLAY) (After dinner, press STOP to have the music fade out)
Microphone to announce the start of dancing.
Dance music selected both online and on site (Press PLAY)
Press STOP to have the music fade out when the party is over!

I will work with you prior to the event to make sure you have everything you need. Once George is set up, you'll be instructed on how to operate the system and you'll be walked through the entire event.

Do I have to pick music online?

While most people love the idea of picking their music online, you don't have to! George is pre-loaded with a variety of basic play lists that can either get the party started or keep it going for the entire event. Plus you can invite your guests to pick their favorites using the simple touch screen interface!

Currently, I include the following play list mixes:  80's Party Mix, Multi-generation Party Mix #1 & #2, Party Starter #1, Hot Hits 2010, Hot Hits 2011 and Standards!

Can I plug my iPod into George?

George is a complete, self contained professional DJ system. The more than 3,300 songs are fully licensed as is the software programs that make George work.  There is no option to plug in any external device.  Frankly there really is no need. The music is updated monthly with the latest hits. If there is a specific song that you must have that's not on our online library....talk with me.

Are there any lighting options?

At this time, there are no extra lighting options.  The "Vertigo" light that comes with George is one of the most popular sound activated lights among professional DJs. It is turned on and off with a cord mounted switch and can fill the room with over 30 bright multi-colored dots of LED light that dance to the beat of the music!  It's even safe to leave on the entire evening!

Can George do my wedding reception?

A Wedding Reception is a big, important, once in a lifetime celebration that REALLY requires a professional Master of Ceremonies/DJ, to coordinate all the events, make all the important announcements and time the music to specific events!  George CANNOT to that!  I designed George for the party that requires no MC....just great music that you and your guests want.  I do NOT recommend George for Wedding Receptions. However, George is PERFECT for rehearsal dinners, graduations, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate parties, sweet 16 parties, open houses, pool parties, and more!

Can I have George do an outdoor party?

YES!!  George loves to play outdoors.  The system is powerful enough to provide sound for a large area, but please keep the neighbors in mind.  I do however require that George be protected from the elements.  If you party is under a tent or near a place where George can be set up under a covered area (say at the opening of a garage), there are no problems. If the area does not have any protection, I can provide a 12 X 12 canopy at an extra cost. George also requires regulated power.  An outlet no more than 75 feet away or a commercial regulated generator.  A small portable emergency generator will not work.
